반갑습니다. ChainSmokers입니다. 오늘 소개해드릴 코인은 웨이브코인(Waves)입니다. 자세히 소개드리기 전에 이 웨이브코인이 어떻게 블록체인 생태계 내에서 유지되고 살아남고 있는지를 말씀드려야될 것 같습니다. 웨이브코인은 DPOS(위임 지분증명)와 비슷한 LPOS를 합의 알고리즘으로 사용하는 암호화폐 즉, 디지털 자산이라고 말씀드릴 수 있습니다. 이 디지털 자산의 개발과 전송, 그리고 거래 등과 더불어 DApp을 위한 플랫폼이 바로 웨이브(Waves)라고 하는 플랫폼이죠. P2P(Person to Person)방식의 거래 기능을 통하여 사람과 사람 간의 자산의 교환 및 토큰 생성이 가능하며 비트코인이나 이더리움 등의 가상화폐 거래도 지원하고 있습니다. 웨이브코인은 일부 러시아의 중앙 예탁기관(예금 예치기관)과 파트너쉽 비즈니스 협약이 맺어져 러시아의 이더리움 이라고도 불린다고 하네요. 

현재 러시아와 우크라이나 간의 전쟁 이슈로 인해 코인이 5만원 가까운 가격에서 만원대 조금 안되는 가격을 보여주고 있습니다. 암호화폐가 물론 큰 가격변동과 24시간동안 거래가 이루어진다는 점을 비교해 보았을 때 이러한 상황들을 바라보는 투자자의 관점에서는 전망이 좋다고만은 할 수 없는 시각을 가질 수밖에 없죠. 게다가 테라/루나 사태까지 이에 가세하면서 상황은 더욱 더 심각해져 미궁속으로 빠지고 있기도 합니다.

하지만 그렇다고 해서 웨이브 코인의 재단 Waves가 가만히 잠자코 있기만 한것도 아닙니다. 플랫폼의 심플한 UI변경, 암호화폐나 해당 플랫폼에 대한 전문지식이 없더라도 일반 유저들이 쉽게 접근가능하게 만들었다는 장점들을 비추어본다면 긍정적으로 평가되는 코인이라고 생각합니다. 하지만 이러한 웨이브재단의 노력이 상승의 발판 혹은 호재다 라고 단정짓기도 어려운 상황이죠. 더 상황을 두고봐야하는 코인일 것 같습니다.
